Where it all began
It started in a small kitchen in 2020, with a worn recipe card and a bag of garden cucumbers. Our founder, inspired by her grandmother's Sunday pickle ritual, decided to share the craft with the world. What began as weekend batches for neighbours became The Sun Dried Jar.
The craft behind every jar
We brine every jar by hand, using whole spices sourced from family farms, fresh dill, and pure apple cider vinegar. No shortcuts. No preservatives. Just time-honoured cold-pack and fermented methods that produce a pickle worth talking about.
Today and beyond
Today we produce over 500 jars a month in small batches, each one inspected and labeled by our team. We are recognised at regional food festivals and stocked by select gourmet stores. But we will always be a small-batch brand — because that's where the magic lives.
